Adaptation and Biodiversity Law: Archived Talks

On June 3, 2009 the
Environmental Law Institute hosted an International
Roundtable Discussion on the question posed in the
subject heading: “What does adaptation to climate
change mean for biodiversity law?” This discussion
is part of an ongoing project at ELI to identify
options and make recommendations for countries
seeking to build adaptive capacity into the
governance of their biological resources. Working
with environmental law and policy experts from
around the world, we are currently developing a
Toolkit for regulatory authorities and
stakeholders, and a Report for policymakers (drafts
planned for release Spring 2010).
