Call for submissions: water, climate change, governance, corruption

The Water Integrity Network is seeking paper submissions exploring the nexus of water, climate change, governance and corruption.
Climate change has been growing in importance on the global political agenda and is increasingly recognized as a serious threat to sustainability. By definition, climate change largely related to changes in the global, regional and local hydrological cycle. As the impact of climate change grows, so does its effect on the water sector. The hazards of climate change - including sea level rise, extreme weather events, floods and droughts, environmental degradation and the acceleration of poverty - have a significant impact on the global community. It has been predicted that by 2025, two thirds of the world’s population will live in areas with water stress, 15 percent of which will live in areas with serious water scarcity.
